Sodium petroleum sulfonates are unique minerals because of their dual function as surfactant and rust inhibitors. The polar nature of the sulfonate end of molecule functions as a typical anionic surfactant, orienting itself with water of other polar materials while the hydrocarbon trail provides the bridge to the non-polar phase.
Our natural sulfonate is clear, viscous, liquid completely soluble in oil and made from highly refined lube base stock.
